The Discovery Session

The Discovery Session is not a sales call.
It is not a commitment to coaching.

It is a discerning conversation.

This session exists to explore fit, readiness, and intention—for both the individual and the coach—before any coaching container is entered.

What the Discovery Session Is

The Discovery Session is a guided, reflective conversation designed to:
•    clarify what you are actually seeking
•    surface what may be blocking movement forward
•    determine whether transformational coaching is appropriate and timely

This session is thoughtful, paced, and intentional.

You will not be told what to do.

You will not be given answers to your problems.

You will not be rushed toward a decision.

The purpose is clarity, not outcome.

What the Discovery Session Is Not

The Discovery Session is not:
•    therapy or clinical care
•    crisis or emotional rescue
•    advice-giving or problem-solving
•    goal-setting or performance planning

It is not designed to “fix” anything in one conversation.

Who the Discovery Session Is For

The Discovery Session is well suited for those who:
•    feel internally blocked but not broken
•    are tired of doing the same things without results
•    sense there is more but can’t clearly name it
•    value reasoning, reflection, and personal responsibility
•    are curious, cautious, and willing to look honestly

Many who request a Discovery Session have already explored:
•    self-help or mindset work
•    faith practices
•    discipline, structure, or goal setting
…and still feel something unresolved.

Who the Discovery Session Is Not For

This session may not be appropriate if you are:
•    in an active depressive or crisis state
•    seeking answers, direction, or decisions from someone else
•    looking for relationship mediation or repair
•    unwilling to engage your own reasoning process

Fit is discerned with care and honesty.

Scheduling & Availability

Discovery Sessions are scheduled through a waitlist model.
Availability is opened intentionally to ensure protected presence and depth of attention.

This is not about scarcity.

It is about stewardship.

What Happens After the Discovery Session

After the Discovery Session, one of three outcomes typically occurs:
1.    Coaching is recommended, and next steps are discussed
2.    Coaching is not recommended, and clarity is still gained
3.    Timing is not right, and no action is taken

There is no pressure to continue.

The Discovery Session itself is complete in purpose.

Discovery FAQ

Is this therapy?

No. This coaching does not diagnose, treat, or resolve mental health conditions and does not replace therapy or clinical care.

Is this faith-based?

This coaching is spiritually grounded and led from a Christian worldview. Scripture may be referenced and explored, but never forced.

Participants are not required to be Christian to engage in this work and are not excluded based on faith background. What matters most is openness to reflection, honesty, and personal responsibility. Fit is discerned together.

If you’d like to understand the spiritual posture behind this work more fully, you can read a brief reflection here.

Will you tell me what to do?

No. This coaching does not provide answers or decisions for your life. It helps you see yourself clearly enough to choose freely.

What if I don’t know what I want yet?

That is often the reason people pursue this work.

This process is designed to guide evaluation and reflection so clarity can emerge without pressure.

Is this goal coaching?

Goals often provide the entry point for this work.

As the process unfolds, attention naturally shifts toward the internal patterns, beliefs, and assumptions that influence whether goals can be sustained. This coaching addresses the operating system behind goals—not just performance.

How long does the coaching last?

Coaching begins with a 15-week foundational container, entered intentionally.

After completion, coaching may continue in an open, revisitable format if useful and desired. Participation is based on agreement, not contract.

Why a waitlist?

Because this work requires presence.

Availability is managed intentionally to ensure depth, integrity, and sustainability. This is not about being busy—it is about protecting the quality of the work.

What if I’m not ready?

Then clarity has still been gained.

Readiness is discovered, not assumed.
